5800 Owners, Are You Happy?
With the news that Nokia are set to release a 5800 Comes With Music Edition at the end of the month for just £299.99, the question to many of you is….. how do you feel about it if you already own a 5800?.
The 5800 was expected to launch with Comes With Music from the start but this never happened and with the Comes With Music hanset selection starting off poor on just a 2G Nokia 5310 sales of the service have been pretty poor until now, but at least the N95 8GB and N96 have been added to the list.

If you bought a 5800 already it is pretty safe to guess you like your music on the move because that is what the phone is all about, but how do you feel now that after already spending your cash on the original version, for just £50 more you could have waited and got UNLIMITED music downloads for a whole year.
Orange recently announced they were going to be selling the 5800 CWM version from June on a 24 month contract which is great for those people who have not already purchased.
For me personally I think Comes With Music would be a great service if they also sold a subscription code for a set price giving you 1 year of music downloads. All you would need to do is get the code, hook up your selected Nokia handset to Nokia Music and hey presto, you have a CWM phone of your choice, plus also helping make legal music downloads more popular.
Do you think this will happen, and how do you feel about the 5800 now coming with a year’s worth of unlimited music downloads….. comments welcome below.

More than happy.
I picked up my 5800 for £199.99 on release day, and I can’t see me dropping an extra £100 over a 12 month period on music that I ‘officially’ download. I’ve also been let down my Nokia Music Store on quite a few occasions by not having pretty obvious stuff, I don’t think the selection is particulary good at this point.
Saying all that, I do think it’d be a good idea to release a CWM voucher system. £50, unlimited downloads? Yeah, I can see me going for that. If this isn’t planned for some point down the line in Nokias business model I’d be very suprised.
50/50 ..
I’m not happy with OS Usability, Speaker Bugs, Screen Probs. Those annoying Colour Changes on the Screen, and the overall bad Usage Quality kinda bring me back everytime to my N82. They’ve certainly made a good start with it, but there need to be lots of improvements. On the other Hand, i am VERY happy with Music Playback, Video Quality, the Speakers are THE best i’ve heard on a Nokia Phone. For Video Converting i recommend the Internet Tablet Video Converter from Nokia, i’ve got the best Results with this so far ..
I have had the US version of the 5800 for about 2 months now. At first i was worried i would hate it so i held on to my N85-3. Well after 2 weeks of never touching the N85 for 2 weeks i sold it. The 5800 has been a great.
After 2 months I am starting to like 5800 a lot. Sure some features feel 1st gen and need some rough edges sorting but after a weekend using an Android G1 it was a pleasure to go back to 5800. Just need more quality apps. Quite a few java apps and games don’t work with the UI but other apps (e.g. gravity) work great. I agree a voucher for CWM would avoid some bad PR (and I might even buy one).
I ordered ANOTHER 5800 (been through 3 already) but keep coming back for more. Ordered through my catalogue so i can pay off in installments and the 5800 will be backup to the N97 when I get it as the 6120 Classic i have really needs retiring now.
