Virgin Mobile Bag E63

MobileToday have posted today that Virgin Mobile have bought the Nokia E63 as a PrePay exclusive on their network

MT posted this on their official website:

Virgin Mobile has bagged the exclusive prepay version of Nokia’s latest E-series phone, the E63.

It is Virgin Mobile’s first 3G phone with full QWERTY keyboard. It is being sold for £150 on prepay with 30 pence per day pay as you go internet usage.

The blue version of the handset is available at Virgin but the phone will also come in red it includes; and comes with QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, two-megapixel camera, MP3, FM radio and expandable memory

So £150.00 for a new Nokia E-Series with QWERTY keypad…. Sounds like a good deal to me!

      Afternoon Joe.

HSDPA is also known as 3.5G and is a faster version of the internet. This is also what USB modems use to get faster speeds.

GPS is used in Nokia Maps to find where you are anywhere in the world just like Sat Nav on a TomTom in a car.

      Hope this helps

Phone works fine but the E-Mail is NOT very easy to obtain via virgin. It downloads messages ok but will not send from my virging (ntl) account. When I called about this I was informed that virgin do NOT currently support E-mail via their phone servers….. still working on this. The main reason for me having the phone is to have e-mail access. So if anyone out there has a contract type account with virgin mobile and can SEND E-mails using their phone I would appriciate the phone setting you are using……. even better if your e-mail address is an old ntl type one.
