Nokia App Store At MWC?

A little while ago I posted a rant about how Nokia Download is too out of date when you look at App Store or Android Market,

However according to Eldar from Mobile-Review.com, Nokia are indeed testing a App Store and it is expected to launch at Mobile World Congress

According to Eldar Murtazin, the new Nokia app store is already up and running in a closed mode:

At first glance, for now, the app portal looks so so, there is some confusion. But they are trying, polishing it and a lot has changed for the better in a matter of days. A right step in a right direction… And the distribution and revenue sharing model between app makers and Nokia looks very attractive.

This is something I have been hoping for as far back as seeing the App Store on the iPhone and if planned right could make a huge impact on application downloads for Nokia devices.

Check out MWC coverage here on WorldofNokia to see if this rumor does in fact turn out to be real
