Nokia 5800 Hitting Vodafone In February

On browsing the new Vodafone online store today I noticed that the Nokia 5800 is now the only phone on the ‘Coming Soon’ section which is great news for the Vodafone customers and those of us who want this amazing device.
Dated ‘February’ which is indeed in Q1 2009 as we were told back at the Smartphone Show in October and as of yet no other network has played an interest in getting the 5800
What is interesting is this phone is a ‘Comes With Music’ capable device so are Vodafone about to jump on the CWM bandwagon or are they going to stick with their own service?
We shall soon see in the next 3 months.

voda being voda they wont touch CWM you will have to get sim free like me.

Im geting it off Voda,i am going to change product code to EURO 1 & put Nokia vanilla firmware onto it straight away !

I like the 16:9 aspect ratio of the HD screen (ie.TUBE) for optimum movie playback !

I hear that their is a good chance that it could start shipping the
week before Xmas !
As this would be extremely good for Nokia market shares performance not to mention Vodafone’s !
This is a very important handset release for the mobile industry on a whole !
Xmas sales account for a large turnover !
And Nokias shares took a drop when they hinted it would be a 2009 Q1 release !!!!

it was due Q4 this year but has been put back until Jan/Feb in the UK. There are a few countries who are getting it already
